Built for the farm.

Practical tools that give you the information you actually need - without the complexity.

🚨

Install it anywhere on the line

Mount the sensor at the tank, the pump, or anywhere along the pipeline - wherever suits your setup. When the next reading comes in below your threshold, you get an SMS - typically within 20 minutes to a few hours of a problem starting.

💧

Catch leaks before they drain you

Minute-by-minute pressure tracking means you'll spot a slow leak or burst line long before your tank runs dry or the power bill arrives.

📱

Check from anywhere

A live dashboard and mobile app put your water pressure data on your phone. Check from the house, the ute, or the far end of the farm.

☀️

Solar charged - no batteries to change

The integrated solar panel charges the internal battery, keeping the sensor running indefinitely. No wiring, no power runs, no maintenance headaches.

📡

Works in remote locations

NB-IoT technology reaches where standard cellular struggles. If One NZ NB-IoT covers your area, you're connected. Check coverage.

Your bore ran dry at 9pm.

Without Pūkeko Signals

You find out at dawn - when the troughs are empty.

Stock are already stressed. You've lost a night's water supply. The pump burnt out running dry and needs a callout from the service tech - a cost of hundreds, maybe more. And you have no idea when it actually stopped or why.

With Pūkeko Signals

You received an alert at 9:45pm.

Pressure dropped below threshold. You received an alert, checked the dashboard, and turned off the pump before bed. You switched over to a back up tank, and the pipeline was back to normal. Total disruption: less than 2 hours. No callout. No stress.

Alert timing depends on your chosen threshold and how often the sensor reports, but most users receive alerts within an hour of a problem starting.

An old ballcock on your scheme came loose while you are on a long weekend away.

Without Pūkeko Signals

You don't know until you get back and notice your "new pond".

60+ hours of full-flow water through a broken ballcock. On a metered council or private scheme that's potentially thousands of dollars in water charges - for water that never reached a trough. Good for the ducks though.

With Pūkeko Signals

You got a text Friday night.

Pressure at the connection point dropped to zero. You called in someone to take a look. They foundthe overflowing trough on Saturday morning and fixed it in ten minutes. A $12/month subscription just saved you a very large water bill.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before you buy.

Yes - whether you run your own pump or connect to a council or private water scheme. The sensor monitors pressure at any point on your water line and alerts you to drops that could indicate a pump failure, burst line, or disconnected fitting. Coverage is good across most of New Zealand including many rural and remote areas - check the coverage map before ordering, and get in touch if you're on the boundary.
Most people install it themselves in under an hour with basic plumbing tools. You'll need to fit a Tee matching your pipe size, then screw in the sensor - a reducing bush adapts the Tee down to the sensor's 20mm thread if needed. We provide a full step-by-step installation guide.
Yes. You set your own pressure threshold, and the system sends you an SMS when a reading comes in below that level. The sensor reports every 20 minutes to 3 hours depending on battery level, so you'll typically know within that window of a failure - any time of day or night.
No. The sensor is solar-powered with an onboard rechargeable battery, so there's no wiring or mains power needed. It communicates over the NB-IoT network - not WiFi - so it works even in sheds and remote paddocks where there's no internet connection.
The sensor measures up to 120 PSI with ±5% accuracy and 2 PSI resolution. This is accurate enough to detect pump failures, slow leaks, and pressure trend changes - which is exactly what it's designed for.
Yes. You can add multiple sensors to your account and monitor them all from a single dashboard. Each additional sensor is $290 + GST hardware plus $12 + GST per month.
Yes - for now. The sensor relies on One NZ's NB-IoT network, which operates in New Zealand. We're a Kiwi company, assembled and developed in New Zealand, and all support is local.
Your device is covered for product faults and manufacturing defects for as long as your subscription is active - there is no fixed warranty period. This covers the device stopping working due to a fault, not physical damage from misuse or accidents. We also cover cellular network shutdown: if the One NZ NB-IoT network is ever discontinued, we will replace your device with one that works on the available network at no hardware cost. Individual components (antenna, cable, solar panel, battery) are also available as replacements. See the products page for details.
